Create Structure & Set Expectations

  • Establish a consistent work schedule

  • Communicate in "real-time": Slack, MS Teams, WhatsApp - in addition to email

  • Agree on expectations

  • Take task management out of email:, Asana, Trello, etc.

Meet Frequently

  • During the first 2-3 weeks we recommend meeting 30 minutes to 1 hour per day

  • Once a rhythm has been established, daily huddles may be shortened to 10-15 minutes

  • Meet with your Customer Success Specialist frequently

Effectively Delegate

  • Take your assistant through the task from start to finish so they can observe you (assistant records the session so they can create an SOP)

  • Shadow your assistant while they do the task and then give feedback

  • Your assistant completes the task on their own, and you provide feedback as needed

  • Your assistant masters the task!

Build a Long-Term Project List

  • Assign long-term projects that your assistant can pivot to once their daily tasks are complete
